Graham Stewart and Robin Lowe met 40 years ago in Soho where they founded Art Cart eventually giving birth to Art Crating, Archive Fine Art, and ACLA. They came to NYC with a wealth of practical skills, can-do attitudes, and an intense desire to soak up all the creative culture that NYC had to offer.

In 1985, they met Leo Castelli and began working with such artists as Jasper Johns, John Chamberlain, Donald Judd, Roy Lichtenstein to name a few. Within short order, they met Larry Gagosian for whom they have worked for decades helping mount hundreds of renowned exhibitions by artists like Frank Stella, Richard Serra, Andy Warhol, Anselm Keifer, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst, Mike Kelly Jenny Saville, Cecily Brown and many others.

Together they have developed special handling crews both on the East and West Coast that problem solve and install some of the most challenging artworks in both private and public settings. To maintain the “quality and progressive” attitude needed to work at the highest and most demanding level of the art market, Graham and Robin have always put an emphasis on creating a core group of smart and creative team players with strong work ethics.
